Free ConfigMgr Reports

In this section you will find some free reports I have created for System Center Configuration Manager 2012 onward.  The reports have been created in Microsoft Excel using SQL data connections.  Whilst useful data can be found both in the ConfigMgr console itself and in the built-in SSRS reports, it is often necessary to create your own custom reports to find exactly the information you need.

Microsoft Excel is an excellent reporting tool, and can be used to combine both graphical and raw data in a single report, utilizing as many SQL queries as you need to retrieve your data. This means we can have a ‘single pane of glass’ to display all the data we want, without needing to drill down into other reports, or navigate to other areas of the ConfigMgr console.

We can also make these reports available to interested parties in a format they are familiar with, without needing to give access to the ConfigMgr console, or even the SSRS reports.  All that is needed is read access to the ConfigMgr database.

  1. Can’t access any of the Free ConfigMgr Reports as MS Script Center no longer hosts them. Can you put them on GitHub
